Demands that we address injustice, both as individuals and as a society dominate the headlines. How should Christians respond? Should we embrace radical, problematic views of the world? Should we remain silent?
There is a gospel-filled way to confront injustice that proceeds from the only view that has ever grounded human dignity – the Imago Dei. This view has animated Christians for centuries in addressing social problems with a Gospel framework.
Most causes these days assume things about justice, God, and even who we are as human beings, that aren’t true. The ideas not only distort the Gospel, they oppose it and leave victims in their wake. Tragically, many Christians don’t even notice.
Since God’s grace and truth are not part of these larger conversations, preoccupations with wokeness, critical theory, and social justice have embedded dangerous ideas in our culture. Will causes of justice be built around wrong views of what it means to be human? Or can they proceed from the only view that has ever grounded human dignity – the Imago Dei?
At the Colson Center, we believe Christians must pursue justice as agents of restoration in God’s story. Christians are always at their best when they are running into the brokenness instead of away from it, and when they are caring for the victims of bad ideas.
In this course, you will learn how to enter the quest for justice from a Biblical perspective. Sign up today to learn how to bring Christian hope, love, and truth to the issues and conversations surrounding social justice!
At the Colson Center, we are committed to equipping you with the resources you need to engage in God’s restoration story for humanity. We hope you sign up and enjoy this free short course.
