Advent: A Time to Be Silent

In this frenzied age, it is difficult to be still and silent. Despite the difficulty, doing so is sometimes vitally important. John Stonestreet talks about why we need to ready ourselves to hear God in the first of a four-part series, "He Has Come!"

Prime Time to Speak the Word
We certainly should not be noisy people, and, indeed, we are to be still and know God. But to be silent about this, The Incarnation, in our communities is the antithesis of The Word. And, outside the box, most of us are silent, failing to bear witness to The Light.
