Silence
For many years now, as I have spoken to groups of parents, I have mentioned - if you remember nothing else that I have said - remember these words, "silence condones". If people do not speak up, whether they be parents in the home, or citizens in a democracy, it is then assumed that all is well. We have a responsibility to speak out to share our thoughts and opinions.
