Woman on Woman Violence

Instead of testing its prospective candidates for virtue and character, one sorority thought it more important that its members should be able to withstand assault and threats. Thankfully, one would-be member had the self-respect and intelligence put a halt to this vile abuse.

The hazing incident which took place at San Jose State University.

Comments:

What for? You mean other then because people like to get together and obscure rituals are fun for some people? That is good enough reason to have sororities/fraternities. You cannot go round decrying everything that is abused sometimes or you end up sounding like Richard Dawkins.
Why have sororities/fraternities??? What for?
I went to a college that was newer. They saw no reason to even start up sororities / fraternities.

When some really bad stuff happens to students at schools, I wish MORE would file police charges.

Not for petty stuff, but for full fledged assaults like this one!!!
