Supreme Court Nominees and the Constitution
There are many questions Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan must answer in her hearings before the United States Senate. The Senate should scrutinizing her merits as prescribed by the Constitution: moral problems, nepotism, and cronyism. She may not legislate from the bench or operate beyond her role of interpreting the Constitution, if we were to become a part of the High Court, but that does not mean our presumptions should remove her as a nominee.
