Faith, Friends, and Forgiveness
By: Mark Earley

Source: Prison Fellowship Devotion
Earley considers Jesus' example in the story of the healing of the paralytic, observing his sensitivity to the Spirit's working and his willingness to accept this interruption. We too must welcome as friends those who seek Jesus and be sensitive to the Spirit's leading as they come to faith and forgiveness. Rather than being wedded to our own plans, we must be open to the opportunities God gives us when someone in need figuratively
cuts a hole in the roof
of those plans.
