In a 5-4 decision the Supreme Court has ruled that the Affordable Care Act, or "Obamacare," is constitutional. Surprisingly, Justice John Roberts found that it was legal as a tax, though we were clearly told by President Obama that it was not one.

Whether we agree or disagree, there are lessons to learn. First, enacting this legislation will challenge our long-held understanding of religious freedom. As I said Wednesday, the HHS Mandate is the first of many challenges to come from Obamacare. Second, Christians must stay informed and involved in the political process. Obamacare will be the central issue in this election and the importance of judges is only more clear. Whoever is elected this November will appoint up to three Supreme Court justices. And finally, as I said BreakPoint, whatever happens to Obamacare, we still have a healthcare crisis that needs to be fixed. This is no time to bow out.
