Religious Freedom At Stake
What You Can Do about the Freedom of Religion Issue?
As most are aware, the United States Supreme Court is set to rule on the constitutionality of the Affordable Health Care Act. The Administration has already mandated that the HHS force religious institutions, employers, and charities, as well as all other organizations, beginning in August of 2012, to offer health insurance which would give free contraceptive and abortifacient drugs upon request to participants. Many see this as a severe infringement on basic freedom-of-conscience rights long protected in US society.
Here at Colson Center, we are gathering resources to help you prepare for the ongoing religious freedom debate. Our goal is to help you beome activated and vocal in the public square on this crucial issue of our time.
Some Resources: (We will add to this list as things progress).
