Personal Mission Field

As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to be His witnesses, as we are going in our daily lives, within the area of influence God has assigned to us. That area of influence (2 Cor.10.13) therefore represents the Personal Mission Field to which God has sent us.

This brochure will help you identify the people and the cultural arenas in your sphere of influence – your Personal Mission Field. In each of those arenas, God is calling you to live out the Biblical teaching concerning the goodness, excellence, beauty, and truth of the Kingdom of God. In addition, in each of those spheres, you are involved in relationships with people who need to know the love of Christ. Following the steps explained in the brochure, map out your Personal Mission Field and identify the ministry to which God has sent you to live and to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our Scriptural Call:

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1.8

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20

But we will not boast beyond limits, but will boast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, to reach even to you. For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ. We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged, so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another's area of influence. “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
2 Corinthians 10:13-18
